“There is eternal influence and power in motherhood.”
-Unknown
What a powerful thought! Mothers, we all have them, we know them, or we are them. They carry the future, full of hopes, dreams, and possibilities. They learn to savor the small things, and imprint the memories of their children on their minds and hearts. They have a keen capability to know, feel, and experience their children in a way that no one else is privileged. They are a life-force capable of securing a heritage, and preparing a forthcoming destiny. Mother – what a powerful word, descriptor, and title. Yet, she often becomes the unsung hero as she orchestrates the coming future. She is remembered and celebrated once a year, but her work extends through all of time. Such power, influence, and meaning should transcend all time and space and be given a higher honor.

These thoughts were the birthplace for my book, “Memoirs from Motherhood”.
Motherhood, unlike any other life event, has shaped me into the woman and character I am today. I know it has done the same to mothers across the world. Mothers whom have carried their children for brief periods. Mothers whom have experienced the life journey of their children. Mothers whom have lost their most precious gifts. Mothers whom have conquered the greatest task imaginable, while battling impossible external factors. Mothers whom are in the trenches, but find that still, small moment in their child which will forever imprint on their hearts. Mothers whom I have not met, but whom share this common thread of greatness, which we have been imparted.

So, mothers, I am looking for you. I am looking for your memories, your reflections, your accounts, and your narratives surrounding your motherhood. My purpose with “Memoirs from Motherhood” is to combine these personal submissions into a meaningful publication accessible to all. A collection of stories and experiences that transcends everything that divides us and preserves what brings us together. If you are interested in being part of this one-of-a-kind opportunity, please read and complete the full application and forward your submission. I cannot wait to partner with you in this special endeavor. I am eager to read your submission!
